In Spring the Earth,

She blooms and blossoms,

Alive and brimming with life.

New baby’s faces,

Warmed by Her Sun and Love heats,

The Air all around.

Has opened the Earth,

The frozen seeds of winter's past,

Have broken free,

Before the Ritual has begun, an appointed Covenor must smudge (cleanse) all attendees.

All Covenors will now take a few moments of silence to meditate and ground thyselves.

 

Ring BELL 3 times. Anoint all candles with OSTERA OIL except for the LAVENDER one.

 

HPS:  WHITE Candle:           I ask with the flickering of this flame, that thee Goddess Ostera

Come to this Magick Circle.

BLACK Candle:                      This candle will draw to Earth all the bounty and balance of the Universe.

 

YELLOW Candle:                   This candle is for equal night equal light to us, we pray, banish winter’s plight.

 

GREEN Candle:                       This candle brings the Earth blooms rejoicing and to dance with the Fairies.

 

PINK Candle:                          This candle brings the Spirit of Love to us, for compassion and understanding.

HP:      I invoke thee God, Kokopelli, in a field filled with light. Beautiful body. The strength of all worlds, as his arms, I feel secure. His eyes, like sky, his muscles, like rock; I see the Universe in his smile. In the flowers, I now lay, the heat of the Sun at mid-day. My hands on his body, and his hands on mine. Together, we join and meet the divine. Satisfied I feel, as I have never been to provide empowerment of his seed, for the survival of high yielding crops.

Within, I am secure with the knowledge that we have been.  I invoke thee to be here amongst us now!!!!!!

I consecrate this Spring Altar, so that it be of positive energy and pleasing to thee Fairies and Fertility Goddess.

EAST:  (Lights the Incense)

With this INCENSE we are guarded with thy power of the Ancient Ones. With the power of soft warming breeze, may we be Purified and Blessed. We are the hope that never dies.

(Takes up the incense cauldron, walks deosil outside of the Covenors for their purification smoke. Returning to their appropriate place.)

 

CASTING OF THE CIRCLE

 

HP:  (With Athame in hand, walks deosil 3 times around.)

I cast this circle, to protect us from all negative and positive forces that may come to do us harm. May we be guarded by thee astral seeds of life -a circle of Spirit shields of protection surrounding us. I charge this circle to draw in perfect harmonious forces and energies most Spiritual with us, as a Sacred space between the Worlds, a place of perfect love and perfect trust while honoring the Divine, within and without.

ANCIENT WICCAN RITE

 

(To be read by assigned covenors.)

 

We are between the worlds, beyond the bounds of time.  Where night and day, birth and death, joy and sorrow all meet as one.

 

We meet in perfect love and in perfect trust.  Remember always the Wiccan Rede:

“AN IT HARM NONE, DO WHAT THOU WILT.”

 

Remember this always, in whatever you do, in whatever you desire, in whatever you would ask of the gods.

 

Whatever you would do, be assured that it would harm none, not even yourself, and remember that as you give, so shall it return threefold.

 

Give of yourself, your love, your life, and you will be thrice rewarded.  But send forth harm, and that too, shall return thrice over.

 

 

SEEDS/ WATER OF LIFE

HPS:  (Takes the bowl of Earth and plants 7 seeds. The raises it to the FERTILE mother and asks her to bless these seeds. Holds the bowl with both hands, then turns and faces the HP.)

 

HP:      (Takes the Sacred Feather and blesses the bowl of seeds with the sign of the Pentagram.)

Bless these seeds of life.

 

HPS:   Lifts the small chalice of water, faces the HP.

 

HP:      (With Sacred Feather touches the water.)

I charge this water to stir and revive the seeds of life.

 

HPS:   (Takes a sip of the small chalice of water.)

The Waters of Life.

 

HPS:   (Pours some chalice water into the dirt of the seeds.  Then hands the chalice to the HP.

 

HP:      (Raises the small chalice of water.)

The waters of life.

 

(Don't drink this; however, place down on altar.)

 

The Earth bowl is now passed around to all Covenors deosil while each one raises bowl to spirit and recites:

FAERY/ FAIRY FAITH

 

HPS:  (Anoints HP with Faery oil.)

 

HP:  (Anoints HPS with Faery oil.)

 

HP/ HPS:  (Hold each other’s hands and lift them up to the SPIRIT.)

We are of the Faery faith.  We are the children of the ancient ones.  Their power is within our veins, we will renew this planet. We will stay aware of its sister Moon and father Sun.

Blessed are the waters of life

EGG BASKET MEDITATION

 

HPS:   (Blesses the colored eggs with Sacred Feather.)

Bless these symbols of fertility and feasting.

 

Before these eggs are passed around, I would like each and every one of you to take a moment to reflect upon your requests. As the basket is passed, please take only one. Rub the egg all around your face, lips, cheeks and head. Embrace them ever so gently for they are very fragile. Then one by one we will recite our requests for the coming year.

 

OSTERA GUIDED MEDITATION

 

HP:   Guide all Covenors with 3 deep breaths. Led by 2 minutes of silence. Slowly read as if in a dream state.

 

DRUMMER:  Drums a slow soft beat through the meditation ends with 3 LOUD beats.

 

HP:      Now we all shall meditate in silence on the warmth of the Sun of the season for turning forward, and on the ways in which our distant Pagan Ancestors celebrated this season in times long past.

 

Meditate on those things that hold us back, block out our paths, and make us doubt ourselves on our journey. We embrace these things, for they are a part of ourselves, and have served us in their own way until now.

 

Meditate on healing and balance. As this day is now balanced with night, we stand in balance. Inner with outer, light with shadow. We embrace the two halves, to form the healed hole, which shall be the new seed for growth and change.

 

Meditate on the warm light of the new day, and the light, which will now grow noticeably in our lives, energizing souls, and awakening the seeds within.

 

Meditate on the new growth soon to come. The seeds within and without, germinate, shed their dull brown coats, and push up through the carefully prepared soil of Gaia.  Bright green shoots, desire manifestation, needs fulfillment, and wounds healed. The path to our goals is made clear and verdant.

 

Meditate on the manifestation of our seeds of desire. As the flower is the manifestation of the seed, and in turn manifesting seed again.  We consider carefully what we plant, knowing that it will come to pass, and generate seeds in turn.

HPS:  Extinguishes all candles except for the LAVENDER candle.)

These flames are a form of energy, which, like all energy cannot be destroyed, merely changed from one form to another. As these candles are extinguished, we transmute that energy from the flames without to the Divine flame within each of us. In doing so we reaffirm our dedication to seek the path of Light knowing that the goals we seek, we shall attain empowered by the flame within.
