FIRE

If you checked out the other elements first, it's ok, but this is the one I'm using for my starting point.  No element is more important than another.  There is the aspects of all other elements within each.  Sort of like you have due north, north east, north- north east etc.  There is the air of fire and earth of fire and so forth for all the elements, and you could say that spirit is the element that combines them all, but yet even the spirit contains the elements.

For me the element of fire, is the element of passion and aggressiveness.  It is what gives us the drive to go forth and make our mark on the time and the people that surround us.  For me fire rules the south, and the creatures of fire are salamanders.

The wand, staff and candles represent fire.

Also the suit of wands in a Tarot deck is ruled by fire
