AIR

Air is constantly changing, much like water, but air controls the tides of the mind and intelligence.  Air is the east because that is where the sun rises, giving light and providing new ideas.  The creatures of air are Sylphs.

The incense smoke and sword or athame represent air.

The suit of Swords in a Tarot deck is also ruled by Air.
