This chakra represents our connection to the God and Goddess, our higher selves. It corresponds with personalities, spirituality, inspiration, unity, divine understanding and wisdom, and infinity.
Physically it affects the functions of the muscular
system, skeletal system and skin.
Emotionally it is connected to the ability to trust in
life, values, ethics and courage, humanitarianism, selflessness, ability to see
the "big picture", faith and inspiration, spirituality and devotion.
Physical manifestations of imbalance are energetic
disorders, chronic exhaustion not connected to a physical disorder,
sensitivities to light, sound and other environmental factors.
If under active, this chakra can lead
one to have low self-esteem or a negative self-image. The person may feel
misunderstood as well.
When balanced, it shows a person who is
wise and understands all. It links us to higher forces. The person who has a
purified crown chakra is very spiritual indeed.
